Orange County In-Person Community Meditation

    Join our Orange County community for meditation practice. We will begin with opening chants and brief meditation instruction, followed by alternating walking and sitting meditation. The session ends with contemplation of a dharma teaching and a Reflection Circle. There will be time for tea and conversation afterwards.

    Meditation instruction will be available. People are welcome to arrive and leave to suit their own personal schedule. Chairs are available. If you prefer to sit on a cushion, please bring your own.

    Because this space is in a gated community, you need to register by the Thursday before each session to ensure your name is at the gate.

    Drive up to the guardhouse, where you will be asked for your name. There will be a sign at the driveway leading to Clubhouse 5.  If you search online for “Clubhouse 5, Laguna Woods” you will get specific directions to the clubhouse.

    This is a free offering, but donations are warmly welcomed.  Looking forward to seeing everyone and practicing together!

    Generosity Policy

    SHAMBHALA LOS ANGELES is only possible by the generosity of our community.  No one is turned away for lack of funds.  We do rely on program revenue to meet operational costs.  The Patron Price (when available) helps bridge the gap. Thank you for your support!

    Cancellation Policy

    We offer a full refund minus a $15 processing fee for cancellations 7+ days from the program’s date.  Cancellations done within 7 days of the program will receive credit towards a future program to be used within 1 year. No refunds or credits are issued for cancellations received fewer than 24 hours prior to the program.
