Coordinator Training: The Path of Service (Eagle Rock)

June 9th

Date details +
Room: EAGLE ROCK SHAMBHALA- Main Shrine Room- 963 Colorado Blvd, 90041

The Shambhala Center is not just a place where you go to meditate, it’s a place where we manifest enlightened society on the spot, through coming together as a community to study, practice, and serve.

In particular, coordinating the Way of Shambhala programs is the practice of sharing your own open-heartedness with those who are just starting on the path, while helping the teachers and assistant directors to create a gentle and enriching environment for all participants. The experience of coordinating and staffing programs naturally gives rise to holding a seat of leadership. It is also an opportunity to show our gratitude for the teachings we have received, and for the coordinators, staffers, and other sangha members who have helped us along the way.

This program is open to anyone who has graduated from Level 3 of Shambhala Training.

Whether you are new to coordinating or would like a refresher, please join us. It’s people such as you stepping into program leadership roles that make it possible for the center to offer so many wonderful classes and programs to the community.

The Shambhala Center of Los Angeles remains open because of the ongoing generosity of our community. One of the cornerstones of our policy is that no one be turned away for lack of funds. If you can’t afford a program, please call our office (323-255-5472) to register based on what you can afford. At the same time, the Center relies on program revenue to cover costs. For those who are able to pay more than the program price, your generosity in paying the Patron Price helps cover the costs for others who are not able to pay the full price, and provides additional support to the Shambhala Center of Los Angeles. Thank you for your kindness!

If you cancel more than 7 days prior to your class (and have already paid), you will receive a full refund less a processing fee of $15. If you cancel between 1 to 7 days prior to arrival, we will credit your payment towards another program at Shambhala Los Angeles to be used within 1 year. No refunds or credits are issued for cancellations received fewer than 24 hours prior to arrival.
