The Center for Living Peace, in partnership with the Shambhala Meditation Center of Los Angeles, offers group meditation instruction twice a week during the first half-hour of each public sitting. Please feel welcome to drop by any Sunday morning or Wednesday evening, excluding public holidays.

Chapman University Shambhala Sitting Meditation Group

Join us for free meditation instruction and group sitting meditation on the Chapman University Campus! We practice sitting meditation together most Thursday evenings from 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm at the Fish Interfaith Center in Wilkinson Founders Chapel (the small chapel room adjacent to Wallace All Faiths Chapel). First timers and beginners are welcome!

We will begin with meditation instruction for the first half hour, and then practice meditation together, which will be followed by a brief reading, and then a discussion group and socializing for those who wish to stay.
