New to Meditation?

Starting a meditation practice can be challenging.  That’s why Shambhala Los Angeles offers free guided meditation in the beginning of all of public meditation sessions and group gatherings. We also provide online resources for beginners.  Our programs and classes are also a great way to support your practice.  Sign up to our newsletter for the latest updates on upcoming programs.


Community Affinity Groups

Shambhala Los Angeles has several  Community Meditation Groups that meet on a regular basis both in-person and online to support both practice and sense of community.  All are welcome regardless of meditation experience.

Since 1971 SMCLA has offered a rich array of ongoing meditation programs free to the public with no prior meditation experience required to attend. Donors like you make it all possible.
