The presidential campaign, election and aftermath has led many of us wondering how do we go forward.

Life is not always comfortable and easy. There are often sharp points and unpleasant outcomes. In a world that is filled with upheaval and uncertainty, how do we work with our feelings of hope versus hopeless-ness, courage versus fear, our opinions of right versus wrong, and us versus them?

In this talk, senior Buddhist and Shambhala teacher Jon Barbieri explores how Buddhist teachings offer a powerful path for navigating these turbulent times, and how they provide tools for engaging in the world wisely and skillfully.

Jon will share how these ancient teachings can help us:

  • Cultivate clear seeing:

Discover how to cut through confusion and see situations with greater insight, allowing you to make wiser choices.
  • Find the courage to act skillfully:

Instead of reacting impulsively, learn to respond to challenges with a non-dualistic mind and an open heart.
  • Strengthen our relationships through engagement in our communities:

Gain inspiration and instability from others while maintaining our inner strength.

Join us and discover how the wisdom of Buddhism can empower you to navigate life's ups and downs with greater clarity, courage, and resilience.
