Yoga Instructor Heidi at Shambhala Los Angeles Mar Vista Venice WestsideHeidi Leong began practicing yoga when she was in her 20s and was attracted to the physical fitness and increase in flexibility that yoga provides. When Heidi started her yoga teacher training in her 30s with OM Yoga Center New York, she discovered that yoga is so much more than just about the physical; it is a tool to unite body and mind with our true nature. Heidi practices alignment-based Vinyasa yoga, grounded in the dharma practices of mindfulness and compassion. She enjoys guiding students to approach the pose with clarity, hold the pose with confidence, and dissolve the pose with gentleness and compassion. The combination of yoga asana practice with deep relaxation will prepare us to sit more comfortably in our meditation practice.
