About the Meditation in Everyday Life Course 

This four-week course provides an exploration of genuine contentment, the foundational views of the Buddhist teachings, and meditation in action for daily life. With meditation practice, we can learn to appreciate ourselves and simple human experiences, free from self-aggression. Difficult emotions and the challenges of life can be met with gentleness, steadiness, and humor. Open to all.

Meditation in Everyday Life is the first class in the Shambhala Training curriculum. It offers a glimpse of the Shambhala vision of an enlightened society created through mindfulness-awareness meditation. And how the stability and wisdom cultivated through this practice can expand to benefit the world around us.
