 Searching for Sanity in Show Business @ Santa Monica Zen Centerwith Stanley Weiser Sun December 7th: 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Join us as we host a panel discussion on how to maintain our sanity and be authentic in the Entertainment Industry. Though at first glance, it might seem an impossibility to be authentic in Hollywood, Stanley will discuss the profound way his Shambhala Buddhist meditation practice has influenced his career, as well its relation to his continuing path as successful screenwriter. Stanley Weiser is the screenwriter of "W" and "Wall Street," both directed by his long-time friend, Oliver Stone. Other movie writing credits include "Project X," "Rudy, the Rudy Giuliani Story" and the Civil Rights dramas "Murder In Mississippi" and "Freedom Song." He serves as co-cordinator for the Westside Shambhala Meditation Group. The discussion will be moderated by Claude Zachary, a longtime Shambhala practitioner. Seating will be limited.
