SMCLA Generosity Policy
The Shambhala Center remains open because of the ongoing generosity of our members and program participants, and one of the cornerstones of our policy is that no one should be prevented from participating in programs for lack of funds. At the same time, the Center relies on the revenue from program participants to cover the cost of each program and of keeping our doors open. For programs where there is a set price, if the program price is an obstacle for you, please offer as much of the program price as you can. The suggested minimum, based on the Center’s costs, is 50% of the program price. You may type in the amount on the registration page and pay accordingly. For those who are able to pay more than the program price, your generosity in paying the Patron Price helps cover the costs for others who are not able to pay the full price of the program, and provides support to the Shambhala Center. Program Cancellation Policy
If you cancel more than 7 days prior to your class (and have already paid), you will receive a full refund less a processing fee of $15. If you cancel between 1 to 7 days prior to arrival, we will credit your payment towards another program at Shambhala Los Angeles to be used within 1 year. No refunds or credits are issued for cancellations received fewer than 24 hours prior to arrival.
