Room: EAGLE ROCK SHAMBHALA- Main Shrine Room

Join us for an interactive exploration of how we can approach aging with the dignity and humor of Shambhala warriors as well as find ways to support the many elders in our community. This is the topic of aging like you may never have approached it before—with fearlessness, fun, and for all ages!

The afternoon will include a pre-recorded talk by Acharya Emily Bower as well as contemplation exercises taken from Lewis Richmond's provocative book Aging as a Spiritual Practice.

We will conclude with a festive community potluck and socializing. Please bring a dish to share or contribute $10 toward the cost of drinks, paper goods, etc.

Pre-registration is appreciated so that the coordinators can be properly prepared.

This event is sponsored by Societal Health and Well Being.
