Carpinteria is a beach town approx. 12 miles south of Santa Barbara. Accommodations include reasonable motels and California State Beach Pk. where an oceanside campsite for 8 is on reserve. Transportation to Carpinteria is by car (101), plane (to Santa Barbara), train and bus.

Daoist qigong is a mind-body discipline that promotes health and longevity, increases flexibility of the tendons, strengthens bones, and builds the foundation for the mind and body to rest in sitting meditation. 

Eva Wong is the 19th generation carrier of the Xiantianwujimen (Primordial Limitless Gate) School of Taoism and the third generation student of Wang Xiangzhai, founder of Yiquan martial arts and Zhangzhuan (standing qigong). Eva is also the author and translator of fifteen books on Taoism, the Taoist arts of health and feng shui.
