Yoga for all Levels
Jenny Hannah teaches an hour-long class that is open to all levels. Yoga helps to build strength, flexibility and alignment in the body, which greatly benefits our meditation practice as well as everyday life!
Jenny Hannah is a certified yoga instructor at the 200 hour level. She began studying Hatha yoga in 2001 after being diagnosed with a low back injury, which gave her the opportunity to delve deep into the practice of rediscovering her body. Since 2008, she has committed to a heavy emphasis in Anusara yoga, incorporating the Universal Principles of Alignment in her teaching, in order to access the asanas (poses) with efficiency, and to better connect to the ever-unfolding process of discovery. Jenny holds a B.A. in Studio Art from Cal State LA., and is beginning her studies in Art Therapy. She continually draws inspiration from her studies in Art, Psychology, Anatomy, and the Shambhala teachings. She is grateful to her many teachers, who seem to arise in various forms.
Please come a few minutes early, and bring a mat if possible (we have a few to lend).
