For those new to meditation, free meditation instruction is available during our public sittings listed below. Please arrive at least a half hour before the end of the session to receive instruction and have an opportunity to practice.
The last thirty minutes of our Sunday and later Wednesday sittings include an “Introduction Circle” that provides an opportunity to get to know other meditators and also to ask questions of a meditation instructor.

Due to the holiday season, the last meditation session for 2014 was Tuesday December 10th. Happy Holidays and a Very Cheerful New year!
There will be no sitting meditation sessions in the month of January due to reduced hours at Fish Interfaith Center during Chapman’s Interterm Session. Meditation will resume on February 4, 2014.
Join us for free meditation instruction and group sitting meditation on the Chapman University Campus!
We practice sitting meditation together most Tuesday evenings at the Fish Interfaith Center in Wilkinson Founders Chapel (the small chapel room adjacent to Wallace All Faiths Chapel). First timers and beginners are welcome!
We will begin with meditation instruction for the first half hour, and then practice meditation together, which will be followed by a brief reading, and then a discussion group and socializing for those who wish to stay.
IMPORTANT: Please check this page regularly to confirm there will be sitting meditation, as the space is not available every Tuesday.
