Sadhana of Mahamudra Practice
Join the Shambhala community for our monthly practice of the Sadhana of Mahamudra. The Sadhana (Sanskrit for "practice") was composed by the Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche during a retreat in Bhutan in 1968. This practice brings together the wisdom streams of the Kagyu and Nyingma lineages of Tibetan Buddhism in the personal and direct style of the Vidyadhara. Addressing the confusion and materialism of the state of the world, the Sadhana calls upon our inner wisdom and strength to overcome the darkness of this degenerate age, and invokes the magic and potency of the lineage teachers to enlighten the journey.
